Sarawak = Cat Town Trip ~~YR I
At Last, the long waited holiday trip has finally arrive and come true. Where are we heading??????.......... SARAWAK >>> CAT TOWN. Our official Cat town tour Guide is Ah SUN. " Applause"
On the day of departure, 4 of us (Liken, Ming lee, Peck Chuan and me) meet at KL sentral before taking bus to board at LCCT. Gary also join us for the trip, but he took the earlier flight to Sarawak.
Side track a bit on my bad experience on the LRT on that very morning, the LRT is pack with people like Sardin and i have to rest my HUGE luggage on my leg because there is no room for my luggage and the door of the LRT closed "ngam ngam" behind me. i doubt if i stand an inch outer surely will be slam by the LRT door.
**ADVISE: dont ever take LRT during PEAK HOUR if you have luggage!!!
OK, back to the trip. We have checked in our luggage and waited to board on AIR ASIA only. As always the air asia flight is delay due to unforseen circumtances. Frankly, I have not board on an airplane before and this is my very first time taking airplane to Sarawak across the South China Sea. I feel i like "Ah Ngau Chu Shang" this is what my friend describe me before i leave for Sarawak. haha......
This is the Air Asia plane we are going to board and fly to Sarawak!!! It is so small......
The scenery is Superb, i "curi-curi" took this photo while i was on the plane.
Our very first lunch after we landed in Cat town. This is the so-called Tau fu Tang hoon. This stall is in "ah tap street" and we also try the pork satay, it really tasty and it is hard to find such satay in KL.
Cheng Ho Garden. Do u know Cheng Ho??? I think to those who have study SEJARAH surely have some idea who is him..... i heard from Grace that this garden purposely built to stregthen the relationship between malaysia and china. Is a very nice place to visit during night time.
Next day, we went to CAvessssss. Both road leading to Fairy cave and Wind cave also look alike with many trees along the small and windy road.
All of us at the Entrance of the Fairy Cave, ready to start of adventure into the cave.
Im standing on the highest point to snap this photo: does it looks like the pictures we seen in SEJARAH textbook, it looks so similar to me!!!!
Finally, " White Lady" at Open air market is here. Gary has been nagging Ah sun to bring us here since day 1. Can't denied this is the most special drink i have ever try. Whoever have the chance to come here, is a MUST to try this drink. We keep on ask Gary to franchise the drink to penisular, hehehe.....
Grace bring along her Sabah friend and joined us to tour around the Sarawak Culture Village . It is quite a new experience to see Orang Asli dancing and performing on stage.
when we were happily posing to take photo, out of nowhere, suddenly a freindly German guy appear beside me and pose to take photo with us.
I'm sitting on the Giant Swing under a Melanau House!!! It was ages or lost count on the last time i sit on the swing.
Damai Beach, This scene is so nice. I personally like to view the beach at this angle, although the white sandy beach can't compare with Maritius but the feeling at here is so relaxing, how i hope i can stay here longer !!!
We are at the Cat Muzuem, i'm trying hard and concentrating to snap a photo of the cat muzuem while Gary silently took a photo of me with this pose. I only notice this photo once we are back in the house. Thanks Gary, I like this snapshot alot, although im jus holding my K750 and not my Ixus (Out of Battery)!!! hehehe
