Sing K at K-BOX

Yung and Kam suggested to go sing K for the last time in Ipoh that night since the next day is a public holiday for Awal Muharram if im not mistaken... So, they all persuaded me to tag along with them, as you all know i dunno how to sing-K, ask my gang they know me well.....After much persuasion >>"forcing"..... at last i dont have other choice but to follow them.

The 6 of us (Kam, Yung, CK, Irene, Wai Theng and Me) went to K-Box @ Ipoh Parade to Sing-K right after work. We bought the 6 pax package, i person around Rm 27.... is consider expensive dy, but what to do coz is pre-holiday night >> dunno who so smart chose that night to sing-K!!! we sang from 8.00pm sharp till 1.00 am. total of 5 Hours..

Once we reach there, as you can see from pic below, the 3 guys already "rebut" the mic to sing non-stop... didnt even give the newcomer a chance to sing.... sob sob:((
After awhile, the 3 guys still holding the mic singing till very "tao yup" didnt even notice the girls existence....... wahaha.....

Luckily, these 3 guys after not long passed the mic to us coz paiseh see us gals watching them singing happily...... However, once i wanted to sing, CK so bad, laugh at me.... (from Picture below to see his expression) he complain my singing is that bad!!!!

Tambun Hot Spring

Back to cyber dy, (city of Desert). Just settle down my stuff in Cyber, manage to finish up my ITP logbook and report. Now, is the time to let me blog about what i have not post or left out for the past few weeks...

I had forgotten when i visited Tambun Hot Spring, suffer short term memory loss, ohh nooo, im getting older d.... :(( sob sob...

Anyway, i still want to blog about Tambun Hot Spring since it is my first time to go Hot spring.

Tambun Hot Spring is located in Sunway- Lost World of Tambun itself. 5 of us - Grace, Irene, Chun Keat, Kam and Me went to the hot spring on one of the saturday evening. We paid RM 5 for the entrance to Hot Spring. If you wan to go for the HOT SPRING only and not the whole Tambun lost world, you can go on Friday or Saturday evening. It is open from 6.00pm till 9.00pm.

When we reach there, others building and landmark caught our attention like "SINCERO RIVERBANK" ~~ i think is a dine and wine restraurant and "RUM JUNGLE" is a Pub or Bar. While waiting for Chun keat to arrive, we went to both of the buildings to snap photos and look see look see.

This restaurant really gave me the classy look, especially the glass effect, it is very nice when it is well lighted at night.

Cheng Cheng cheng.......this is the actual hot spring Pool. Well when i first saw, it is out of my expectation, because i had expected to be a natural hot spring. Although the pool is a bit unnatural, but the source water is trully natural Hot spring...

You can see the smoke coming out from the source... i'm sure if you put an egg inside, it will become hard boiled egg.

After soaked in the hot spring pool for more than 2 hours, we left the pool. I feel my whole body is regenerated and my skin become smoother already.... wahahaha...

That day is an unlucky day, CK say we didnt choose a nice day to go out, after soaked in Hot spring, the rain poured heavily cause us to change venue for dinner then when we finally decide to take dinner at"Chang Jiang", something "BIG" happen there.

After we found a place to sit and food came, we all heard some noise or people shouting behind us....... Then, Kam with his quick reaction shouted to us faster leave our table..... When i take alook at the back, i only know have people is fighting......>>Drama began, have 2 foreign worker wanted to fight and each side was pull away and stop by other workers there. One is holding long wooden piece, another took the vegetable Knife ( Choy dou) ready to fight already. while 5 of us try to squeeze at a corner so that we wont get involve in that incident.....

**in my heart i was hoping they faster end the fight so that i can return back to my table and take my dinner.. My food came but i havent got the chance to eat, i was so hungry!!!

Luckily, in the end their bosses came out to settle the conflict for them, that the end of the drama.... what an eye opening for me...... Dont ever wish to go back and dine in there.....

I also dunno why i have such a strong feeling towards eating Egg Tarts (Tan Tart in cantonese)........Hence, during my stay at Ipoh, i go scout around Ipoh for delicious & Yummy-Yummy Egg Tarts...

1st stop:
At Soon Fat Coffee shop, (sorry i dont have a snap of the Shop)... This shop is famous for its Chicken Puff which only sold on Thursday till Saturday!!! It opens morning and night, and rest in the afternoon ! That's why i give it a try on their Egg Tartsss, But too bad it did not lift up to my expectation!!!

2nd Stop:

At Ming Court Hong Kong Dim Sum.

The dim sums here is quite nice second to Foo Shan Dim Sum, but the portion here are quite small, and the choices here are quite limited.... bla bla bla... ei, forget that's not the point, actually what i wanted to tell is the Egg Tarts here is damm nice & delicious compare to All the Dim Sum restaurants in Ipoh. It is freshly baked...( *No wonder when i was dining there, alot of people is buying the Egg Tarts for Take Away!!)

From the pictures here you can see the Egg Tarts pastries have a few layers and are so soft and crispy.....

**Not bad, can consider in my List.....

3rd Stop:

Wulala.......speechless!!!! Once the Egg Tart in the Mouth, you cant stop to finish it up!!!

Hung Kei is located in the Ipoh NewTown (one of the main road leading to The Store), corner shop same row as Soon Fat coffee shop. They start their business in the morning as early as 7.00am everday except Friday, and it will closed once their Varieties of Puffs finished!!!

*If you want to have a taste of these Nice Egg Tarts, be sure to be there before 10 AM, if not you will miss the chance!!!!

Egg Tartss....... Cant wait to buy it and Put it in my Mouth...

hehe, Just forget about my ugly face, actually i wanted to show you my expression on how delicious the Egg Tarts is...... I just cant wait to finish them alll........ Irene and Grace kept telling me not to finish it up as i have.....(***) secret cant tell, and it is not advisable to eat too many egg Tarts in a day.... but i dont care already, health come later... wahahahaha

Laughing out loud, Egg Tarts is in my mouth,

You can see they are many layers of pastries.... According to the Shop owner, the Egg tart pastry consist of 48 layers.... Ohh Yes, i didnt bluff you all, is 48 Layers!!!!

The Shop even features in local magazine (those who knows chinese can enlarge the picture and read more)

** Top of My List for Egg Tarts.... cant find it even in KL!!!!

** If you have a chance to visit Ipoh, dont forget to come and have a Try on their Egg Tarts... I guess i will coming back this weekend to buy more Egg Tartssss.......

Christmas Day

At last, i can blog about how i spend my time on christmas day!!! Now only got all the photos from Mr. Winnie Yung... (new nickname).

As usual with Winnie Yung at Ipoh, Life will not be Boring..... He asked Kam to bring us (Grace, Irene and Me) and was joined by another friend of Irene called Jo to try out the famous Ipoh Laksa that is situated in Gunung Rapat.

*Tips: If you want to look for nice food in ipoh, you must see whether the shop looks old because normally the older /"up tab" the shop looks, the tastier the food will be.


As you can see, the are alot of varieties of Fish meat and Pork meat for you to choose. And most important the price is reasonable..

After a nice and delicious Brunch at Gunung Rapat, off we went to Gunung Lang... which is very near to Perak Cave. When we reach the main entrance, you will see a nice Lake in front of you with limestone rock surrounding the lake. It is sometimes called "siu kui lum" in cantonese ~Little GuiLin because the scenery here looks alike in one of the china Province called Gui Lin.

After seeing a nice lake infront of us, all of us is eager to cross the lake to know what is laying there.. So, we bought the Ferry ticket that cost RM5.00 per pax (if im not mistaken) to cross the lake.

The feery ride was fast, in less than 5 mins we reach the other end of the lake...

There are nothing much on the other end of the lake. Only 2 clock towers, some malay village rumah papan and unlimited of greneery.... This 2 Greenery view is taken from a Tower

After long hours under the hot sun, surely will go to places that offer Cold Dessert for us to Chill out..... >> Crazy Ice-Cream...

How i welcome Year 2008

Well, the countdown at Dataran Ipoh Photos is not with me, hence that post need to be delay. So, I will proceed blog on my first “big changes” for year 2008!!! U guess what it is???

Deng, Deng, Deng, Deng!!! I get a new speaker without me paying it….thanks to my “big sponsor” >> Yung.

Here come the summary of the stories on how it happen

Yung and Kam invited us for dinner and both of them came in to our house to visit us before we went for dinner together. Yung was sitting in front of my PC, when he wanted to stand up, his hands accidentally pushed my speaker and my tiny little speaker suffered free fall and dropped to the floor. Then he wanted to go over and picked up my speaker, he nearly causes the chair drop but luckily there was a wall at the back to support the chair…

**I was standing aside can’t believe what I saw and in the mean time can’t resist to laugh at him for his clumsiness.

The speaker no longer produce any sound, although he try to Press the On/Off button many times….Subsequently he shake, hit and bang it, the speaker still cant produce any sound. While his itchy finger is pressing the On/Off button, the button suddenly went inside and left a big hole. At this moment I really wanted to Roll on the floor to laugh at him. We gave him a new nickname called “Destroyer Yung”, anything that lay on his hand will be destroys.

He still can laugh happily after spoilt my speaker.

After a delicious dinner at Tuck Kei restaurant in town, off we go to Jusco Kinta City to scout for my Speaker… At first I wanted to get the Logitech Speaker, but unfortunately my big sponsor wouldn’t want to sponsor me that much >>“Stingy”. He keeps on praise how good is Sonic gear has gain world recognition and awards for its speaker…. You know why?? Because he wants to convince me to buy Sonic Gear speaker and most important it is cheaper than Logitech speaker. Then, even Kam also praise Sonic gear brand. Hence, I opt for Sonic Gear speaker…

One week B4 Christmas

After 2 months of Industrial training, (Ming lee went to Melaka, i went to Ipoh) Hence 4 of us finally get a chance meet up at Mid valley to catch up wit wat??? You can guess what gals normally do??? Still have what>> Sit down and Gossip about friends, whats happening in town, and Chit-chat till..... like there will be never ending story!!!

** too bad, the gang is left out of 1 member... which is MRs. Kang as known as You are Hot.... She went to Penang happily to meet up with her Mr. Kang.....

After long hours of chit-chat and catch up, i need to head off to find my sis and mum at somewhere inside Midvalley. The fact that i come with them to Midvalley and promise to shop with them but halfway i FFK them and "Cabut" off to meet up with all the 3 lovely gals, what to do.....so long didnt see them already, must get a glimpse of them before i get back to ipoh!!!! kekeke.....

After awhile, they all called me and i meet up with them again for what u guess??? Snap photos....... Take photos with the Red and white spotted Mushroomssssss.

Suppose to have a nicer shot of us (actually is me), not like this photos only can see half of my face ,coz we took a few but Liken didnt send me the anothers so i just have to bear with it and upload this photos... sob sob:((

Since my sis is aorund with me there, i ask them to help me snap a photo of me with my sis...hehe, this time can see my whole face.

Well, it is really a nice Pre-christmas gift for me to meet up with Peck Chuan, Liken and Ming lee and spend my time with my family during the weekend at KL.

Hope to have a Nice christmas in Ipoh, since i didnt apply leave!!!
