Tambun Hot Spring

Back to cyber dy, (city of Desert). Just settle down my stuff in Cyber, manage to finish up my ITP logbook and report. Now, is the time to let me blog about what i have not post or left out for the past few weeks...

I had forgotten when i visited Tambun Hot Spring, suffer short term memory loss, ohh nooo, im getting older d.... :(( sob sob...

Anyway, i still want to blog about Tambun Hot Spring since it is my first time to go Hot spring.

Tambun Hot Spring is located in Sunway- Lost World of Tambun itself. 5 of us - Grace, Irene, Chun Keat, Kam and Me went to the hot spring on one of the saturday evening. We paid RM 5 for the entrance to Hot Spring. If you wan to go for the HOT SPRING only and not the whole Tambun lost world, you can go on Friday or Saturday evening. It is open from 6.00pm till 9.00pm.

This is the birds eye view of Sunway - Lost World of Tambun.
When we reach there, others building and landmark caught our attention like "SINCERO RIVERBANK" ~~ i think is a dine and wine restraurant and "RUM JUNGLE" is a Pub or Bar. While waiting for Chun keat to arrive, we went to both of the buildings to snap photos and look see look see.

This restaurant really gave me the classy look, especially the glass effect, it is very nice when it is well lighted at night.
Rum Jungle ~~ places where you will get "WILD".....

Grace, Irene and Me posing with the Cat at the main entrance to Lost world of Tambun.

This colourful height measurement on the wall caught my attention....

This is the banner of the Tambun Hot Spring......with us helping them to promote...

Cheng Cheng cheng.......this is the actual hot spring Pool. Well when i first saw, it is out of my expectation, because i had expected to be a natural hot spring. Although the pool is a bit unnatural, but the source water is trully natural Hot spring...

You can see the smoke coming out from the source... i'm sure if you put an egg inside, it will become hard boiled egg.
Me and Grace in front of the hot spring pool.
After soaked in the hot spring pool for more than 2 hours, we left the pool. I feel my whole body is regenerated and my skin become smoother already.... wahahaha...

Kam, CK, Grace, Irene and Me at the main entrance.

That day is an unlucky day, CK say we didnt choose a nice day to go out, after soaked in Hot spring, the rain poured heavily cause us to change venue for dinner then when we finally decide to take dinner at"Chang Jiang", something
"BIG" happen there.

After we found a place to sit and food came, we all heard some noise or people shouting behind us....... Then, Kam with his quick reaction shouted to us faster leave our table..... When i take alook at the back, i only know have people is fighting......>>
Drama began, have 2 foreign worker wanted to fight and each side was pull away and stop by other workers there. One is holding long wooden piece, another took the vegetable Knife ( Choy dou) ready to fight already. while 5 of us try to squeeze at a corner so that we wont get involve in that incident.....

**in my heart i was hoping they faster end the fight so that i can return back to my table and take my dinner.. My food came but i havent got the chance to eat, i was so hungry!!!

Luckily, in the end their bosses came out to settle the conflict for them, that the end of the drama.... what an eye opening for me...... Dont ever wish to go back and dine in there.....

Wait for my update Go-Karting..... and many more

Christmas Day

At last, i can blog about how i spend my time on christmas day!!! Now only got all the photos from Mr. Winnie Yung... (new nickname).

As usual with Winnie Yung at Ipoh, Life will not be Boring..... He asked Kam to bring us (Grace, Irene and Me) and was joined by another friend of Irene called Jo to try out the famous Ipoh Laksa that is situated in Gunung Rapat.

*Tips: If you want to look for nice food in ipoh, you must see whether the shop looks old because normally the older /"up tab" the shop looks, the tastier the food will be.

As you can see, the are alot of varieties of Fish meat and Pork meat for you to choose. And most important the price is reasonable..

After a nice and delicious Brunch at Gunung Rapat, off we went to Gunung Lang... which is very near to Perak Cave. When we reach the main entrance, you will see a nice Lake in front of you with limestone rock surrounding the lake. It is sometimes called "siu kui lum" in cantonese ~Little GuiLin because the scenery here looks alike in one of the china Province called Gui Lin.

After seeing a nice lake infront of us, all of us is eager to cross the lake to know what is laying there.. So, we bought the Ferry ticket that cost RM5.00 per pax (if im not mistaken) to cross the lake.
Everyone is wearing Life JAcket ......

The feery ride was fast, in less than 5 mins we reach the other end of the lake...

There are nothing much on the other end of the lake. Only 2 clock towers, some malay village rumah papan and unlimited of greneery.... This 2 Greenery view is taken from a Tower

A group photo taken at the top of the tower

Something happen here, someone twisted his ankle, you know who you are.... Hence, we cut short our visit here...

After long hours under the hot sun, surely will go to places that offer Cold Dessert for us to Chill out..... >> Crazy Ice-Cream...

Wait for my update on New year eve.......

Hike up to Bukit Kledang

Today is Deepavali and of course is a public holiday. This is our first holiday after we undergo Industrial training @ Finisar. Despite of public holiday, 5 Finisar Trainees - Yung, Chun Keat, Grace, Irene and me woke up early in the morning to hike up Bukit Kledang. Do you believe, all of us woke up very early even earlier then we normally do to go for work. To those that don’t know where is Bukit Kledang, It is situated in Menglembu, Cantonese called “man lei mong”, mostly ipohan call places in cantonese which I’m not used to it when I first came here.

P/S: Chun Keat is being force to come along because he is the only ipohan that know the route to go to the Hill.

When we reach the bottom of the hill, I was at shock to see such a long queue of car parking along the pathway leading to the hill. It seems that Ipohan is very healthy and not many activities can do other then go to natural places like this.

This hill can be divided to few stages. The preliminary stage is quite an easy path to walk; everyone can easily finish this stage without any complain.

Here come the challenge >> stage 1

After we finish stage 1, Chun Keat and Irene was tired and exhausted. Both of them can’t resist and take a rest at the rest area.

After much persuasion, both of them continue the challenge with us>> Stage 2
The trail up to the peak getting longer and stepper, but once you see the crowd there is so energetic, you would not feel tired anymore.

When we reach the end of stage 2, now you can see have 3 out of 5 of us is resting at the balcony. Guess who had joined the Resting gang?? Is Ms.Grace. It is very surprise to see her hike up the hill so fast Why I’m not inside the pictures? Because I’m still full of energy to continue to hike up the hill…. *cough *cough..

We stop whenever we see some nice view to take photos >>actually all of us want to take a rest…. To breathe…..

Finally, we reached the Peak of the hill. The birds eye view of Ipoh town is so nice when we look down from the peak.

Then off we go down the hill, we stop by at the Waterfall to refresh ourselves.

We completed the whole hiking trip within 3 hours, everyone was exhausted and hungry. So, where we go after this?? Of course for a nice Brunch at Emas food court. The soy bean offer here is so pure and concentrated that you can’t get it elsewhere.

Too bad, all of us is too hungry and “sapu” the food before I can take a chance to snap some nice photo of the food.

Stay tune for more updates in Ipoh.......

Ipoh Trip with Mission

Mission: Go scout for a house in ipoh so that during ITP (Industrial Training) we no need to sleep at "Kaki Lima" and have shelter. So, three of us (Grace, Irene and Me) follow Nai shyong head up to his hometown >> Ipoh!! Can sing the song " ipoh mari, ipoh mari, ipoh ipoh mari" on the journey up.... hehe

FIRST DAY

1st place - Perak Tong

Actually we went there to meet up 1 of the landlady, but she has not arrived so we walked around the cave first.. and of coz snap some nice scenery...

Naishyong is too excited that cant resist to touch on the statue of god of faith to ask him to find her a gal friend and Future Wife....

While the rest of us, riding on the small little cute animal....

3 of us also dont want to lose, need to take more photo with the "yuet lou" so that some luck will come to us...

Dinner time- we ate at the famous Lou Wong Tauge Chicken. The tauge really different from the KL tauge but other than tat, i cant really differentiate how their chicken is special and unique as compare to the KL chicken....

Second Day

Early in the morning, we went to Foh San for their dim Sum.. Once we reach thr, the place is relaly pack with people "people mountain people sea". Need to stand and wait at some table so that previous customer left, then we only have place to dine-in, really pathetic, but worth the wait!!!

Then, i forgot which day alr, but i 'm lucky that i got the chance to try out on this famous salty baked chicken. Thanks to Nai shyong Dad that brought us here and give us a treat!!!

This restaurant is very "pro" and their service is damm efficiency, everything is ready pack, no wonder their store is publish in the headlines of the local Daily >>The Star newspaper and appear in the TV programme "Ho Jiak" at 8TV .

Then, visit ipoh still have where to go??? of coz visit cave. i have lost count how many cave i have visited. so below the pictures are all the nice scenery taken from Kek Look Tong, dont mistakenly thought is penang Kek Lok Si.

haha, y the whole post also about where i visit in ipoh, have i forgotten my real mission..?? haha, no worries, because on the first day we already found a nice house in BERCHAM with fully furnished, then after that all we need is to wait for the landlord to pass us the key and v pay for the rent.

SO anyone will be in IPOH during this time period>> 22 October 2007 till 25 January 2008.

Feel free to find or call me, hope that someone can be my tour guide around IPOH to search for nice food??? cant wait till it happen!!!

Off to pack my things first, is all in a mesh!!!

Till then
